@ Maoli: I know that. But I had the chance to ask her some questions last year in Germany. ;) Yeah, she had plans to write quite a lot more with Asami and Akihito. But on the other hand she had also plans for Feilong. And a few years ago in another interview she said that she really like it to draw Feilong and that she had plans for an extra manga for one of the characters. Maybe she meant Mikhail. But I think more that she meant at that time Feilong. And she did it. We don't have a manga with Fei but a novel. For me it is ok because I really like the novel. It's as good as a manga (yes, I can read it).
Unfortunatly she said also that the actual arc with Asami and Akihito will also fill the eight manga volume. So no more Fei in the next years. *sigh*
But at the interview she also said that she intends to make a happy end for all her characters. So hopefully we will get a happy end for Fei, Yoh and Mik.

But we have the novel because of this idea and because it would be some hell of work to draw a whole story with Fei. Yoh and Mik had no influence on it. ;)
