I'm surprised I finished this, tbh. I spent the first half of the story hating the guy. I understand he was hurt but he's written to be a complete asshat villain with no redeeming qualities. Not one. He could at least had a weakness for horses or something to show he's not a bad guy, just broken hearted. But I'm weak for tall dark and snarky guys so I played along. Personally, it isn't unreasonable to not be ready for marriage at just NINETEEN. What the hell? There are millions of people who can't pay their own bills or even attend class in something other than pajamas, much less be ready for f**king marriage! I hate how their immaturity is tossed in at the last second as a convenient way to justify the entire plot, motivations and goals. Even for a one shot/short story, there could be a hint at that in the beginning/flash backs. For some that trait is obvious and some it isn't. Maybe it's just me but she comes off as most Otome female leads who lack a backbone so that her interactions with the various guys still makes sense to some degree. Basically, the author got lazy in the character development department. The only tolerable character is Anna because she's the only one with some f**king common sense. Talk it out and make up! UGH!

I normally avoid one shots but I really wanted to read something with a bad boy. It was pretty cute and sweet but I wished it was a tad bit longer to give me a bit more story, more details. I felt like I missed key parts that aren't there to begin with.
