I love Miyuki a lot, although he had a severe personality, and a nasty one. Well, he's hot, right? And to me, the only one weakness of him is his personality (≧∀≦). And somehow, a question appears in my mind. I know for catcher, he has to be fair in growing the pitchers' talents. But I keep curious, between those two pitchers, which one that he personally want to be partnered with? Which one that made him excited and whose pitch that he want to catch the most? （￣へ￣）
Maybe it is useless to think about it, but I couldn't help but to wonder since it seems he has too many personality XD
Not that I try to ship any one of them in term of romance okay, (This isn't Yaoi, duh).
I am glad we are on the same page. I am also a Miyuki lover. He's cool , twisted and talented. As a catcher and more important a captain, he has to act fair for everyone. He loves baseball, and interested in controling the pitchers, so I think he enjoys catching for many different type of pichers. About which one made him most excited and want to catch the most, then I am pretty sure that's Sawamura. Sawamura's pitching style is very unique, difficult yet most tempting - ( Miyuki's words not mine hahahaha ) unlike Furuya's fast ball, Sawamura's unique pitching style need Miyuki's talented calling game since it's not fast, not overpower, basically, it's just hard to time, then if the batter gets used to his pitching, it will be very easy to hit homerun.
That's why Miyuki's calling game is definitely important for Sawamura. We can tell they make the great battery together. People complain a lot how much Sawamura depends on Miyuki, but I have no problem with this. Otherwise I do enjoy his dependence cuz for me, that's not dependence but that's how a great battery works. I don't need another pitcher play baseball as a one man team, I want to see real battery in baseball. XD
Indeed, if you re-watch the anime and re-read the manga, it's very easy to realize how much Miyuki care for Sawamura XD They're very cute. In the up coming offical fanbook, Miyuki x Sawamura battery will be on the cover book with the title " Bonds between 18.44m" ( the distant from the mound to the home plate ) I just can't wait for it. XD
I'm starting wonder whether Sawamura will become Seido's ace in the end. After reading the act II, I see that Furuya has become more and more unstoppable. Well, I know it's not entirely good and maybe Sawamura will have more chance because of that. But I really wonder about that. It's just, to me, unlike before, the team members seem like they do not support Sawamura as much as before (in first series). In the first series, we saw how Sawamura becomes the center of team, right? But now, I don't see any sign of it.
Anyway, seeing Miyuki's attitude towards Sawamura, I start thinking that it would be better for Sawamura to be paired with Koushuu than with Miyuki. Well, I know that Miyuki just does what he needs to as a catcher and a captain, but...
Well, for me, Christ-Sawamura is the best ╮(￣▽￣)╭. Christ really support Sawamura and I can see that they really are partner.
Furuya is not unstoppable. He's just being protected by plot armor. *shrugs*
