lol just like all genres there are good ones, bad ones, terrifyingly bad ones, absolutely nightmare ones, cliches ones, poor drawn, poorly written, poor all around ones. And then there are good ones and ones that will change your life! :)
i think it all depends on the mood you`re in - if you have to "try hard" to read shoujo, then i guess it`s better if you let it be and don`t force yourself. Read the genre you`re fond of and only change it if you feel you really need a variety.
