I think Shikamaru suits best to be Naruto's right hand man. Because he was always
usually there to guide Naruto to make more of the smarter choices, which I don't think he followed very well. But Shikamaru just has that air about him that makes him fit to lead someone onto the right path.
Sasuke, on the other hand, seems more like someone who Naruto can depend on when he's down. Someone he can consult with, when no one else is there to understand. I don't know if this makes any difference from what Shikamaru does, but I just can't phrase so that you can see Sasuke in a more "special" way.
Oh well.
Also he didnt necessarily leave konoha i dont think. I think he is just on travels, think about it, when did he get chance to have a kid when he left in the last but one? He must have returned and is just going out all the time. He isnt a very good Dad but hey, he hasnt left Konoha, he is a hidden leaf ninja again.
Something tells me though that Sasuke didn't get straight with Sakura, maybe he had a fling with Karin or something? I mean seriously, their daughter looks NOTHING like Sakura.

Well, salada resembles her father but sakura HAD her, you know what I mean, so it's impossible that sakura's not the mother
Okay so after about a week, I feel less horrible about the ending.. anyone else feeling the same? I mean i'm still a bit disappointed with the SasuxSaku pairing (everyone knows why) But i don't feel like it ruined everything anymore, The only thing I'm still really really sad about is the fact the Sasuke left konoha! he needed to stay by naruto as his best friend/right hand guy!! what does everyone else think?
