when i began reading manga i was annoyed by the popups too, they tried to spoil my fun reading. now i am so happy to have adblock ;o)

Yes, Adblock is essential, Adguard (with chrome browser) is even a better option than the former because it consumes less memory and it has the option to clear any particular item or area you want on a page, even if it isn't an ad (still both of them are excellent extensions).
However, Adblock or any other security/ privacy extension won't work with the problem of pop-ups generated by an infection ...
It's crazy! I only just started getting them today and they're driving me crazy! It redirects me like every second page! What's going on??
