Yes, a very old illustration of Feilong. Yamane wanted to make him extremely feminine looking in the beginning (if you look closely in the first chapters, when he first appears in volume 1, he even has long nails!), but thankfully, she changed her mind along the way. XD

Even Yamane-sensei realized Feilong's earlier look was too much. XD I have nothing against his luscious long hair, but I could do without the lipstick, earings and long nails. :)

Well this is an interesting question. Maybe she originally was planning to pair Asami and Feilong, so she wanted the latter to look very feminine and exotic ... perhaps she thought that it would leave more impact with the readers. However at a later time, she was set on pairing Aki and Fei, so Fei had to be redrawn to match the image of a somewhat masculine seme?
It would have been awkward if a very feminine character was doing the job of a seme! Isn't that so?
