you can write a story of a child born of poor parents and the aspirations pushed onto him/her by the parents... something like that, i guess.
In my experience, teachers give more grades to stories involving personal experience and/or emotional/tragic stories.
Write about an orphan, who constantly get rejected by his foster parents and has no friends..then he somehow becomes successfull..or something XD make it nice and tragic..it will melt even the hardest marker
