There are a lot of loose ends everywhere, so TKG will surely have a sequel.
I can't wait!

It would be legitimately surprising and exciting if Kaneki was really in Kokuria.

And if Amon, Hide or Takizawa were the next ghoul experiment.

    Ahh.... I want a sequel!!!

Kaneki in Kokuria seems a really possible outcome. Where else would they 'store' him? CCG wouldn't dispose of him, they need him, after all.

It'd be interesting if Amon was turned into a ghoul, which seems possible as well, he'd be a hell of a powerful ghoul, and the Kaneki-Amon interaction would be intriguing.

I don't think Hide'll be turned, but he'll play a key part in the sequel, I believe, he could even be the next protagonist while Kaneki 'rests'...

Absolutely! But if he already died then they would have most likely turned him into Arimas new weapon. Aw, that would be really sad.

I agree! Also, when Kanou talks with Tatara and that anonymous person swathed in bandages (who I guess is the one eyed owl is disguise) he said that the CCG investigators have a "more durable body compared to those of the ordinary". It's not far-fetched assuming that they are talking about the CCG operatives who supposedly died and whose bodies can't be found like Amon.

Hm.. true, rather Amon got turned into a ghoul than him. But I'm extremely curious what happened to Hide.
I hope Ishida Sui will make a sequel worthy the first part. Otherwise... it would be just disappointing.

Kaneki's survival or death lay in Arima's hands, he had the final word about it acting like a pseudo-judge exclusively for Kaneki (there was so much symbolism in those panels).

Arima didn't destroy him, only disabled him, I think, Kaneki has a good regenerative power, that, coupled with the several Kakuhou he has shown (he partook in cannibalism), he'd be perfect experiment material, he's half-human, and also Kanou's -successful-experiment (and let's remember Takatsuki Sen's suspicious involvement).

Hide surely knows what happened--what would happen to Kaneki, he was the last person to be seen with him, that shows his relevancy, Hide stopped Kaneki's imminent death from happening. It'd be amazing if he turned into a proper Holmes or L ! :D

Well, there's a lot plot material left so I hope Ishida-sensei takes his time and comes back with an awesome part two!

Also I believe that Touka's dad, Arata is alive but is in kokuria since the CCG keeps making the Armor called Arata which is a Kakuja
