I don't believe that the right way for Akihito to get Asami respect is to enter in his world. They have a completely different hierarchy of values. He will never fit into this world, despite he's so desirous to receive his approval and love. How someone for whom the most important is the strength, power, money can respect someone prize the most scientific, ethical, emotional values and conversely? Everyone in this world have him for nothing. I don't know if it's at all possible to be on par with Asami and at the same time be his subordinate lover. As for me maybe Aki should try to ask him for advice and start listening to him to gain other kind of respect, or become someone respected in his own domain as photographer. And well pretend that he enjoy every sexual fantasies of Asami. Even if Akihito really just pretends that he doesn't like it and in fact likes it, I don't know how they couldn't have key word. i can't think for better ending than living japan if aki want doing his job propoly but if he stay he must close his eyes about asami matters coz asami is the lord of the dark world all the cases lead to him. aki has changed befor he said that he will never be an ally of asami but then he volotary plunged in asami world, sudoh made him realise that if he keep doing that he will become like sudoh soiled and keep going deep and deeper in the abyss of hell bliding by love. he is too innocent loving asami can lead him to a bottom if someone like sudoh doesn't wake him up but not to far tring to kill him.
