"traveling the world for a sccop in iraq" - How is this a better alternative to Asami's world? Do you watch the news? Did you not see those photojournalists who were beheaded by those religious fanatics? THAT is a truly terrifying world, and whats worse is that its real life. Aki is fine in Asami's world, yes it's dark but he's where he wants to be.

A pretty pampered boy like Aki wouldn't last five seconds with those barbarians. Please remember, Yamane Ayano's manga is fiction, it's not real. The crap that is happening with ISIS is real, so don't try to associated this manga to real life because I'm sorry, that's an insult. People are dying because in Iraq. If Yamane Ayano ever made a short where she placed Aki in Iraq for the 'scoop', I would stop reading View Finder right away because that would be very diserepctful. It kills me to think how many fans would drool over the idea of Aki being thrown into a war ridden country like Iraq and taken by some "mysterious man", and having to be saved by Asami, when in reality, there is shit and terror going on there every day.
Keep Aki's troubled ass in Tokyo, some place where he always has his knight in shining armor to save him.

Takaba Akihito can't stay away from this world. that's how he met Asami in the first place. He was running after scoops before he met him. the reason he is alive is bec, Asami saved him from the crooked cop. Don"t you remember the stalker? who saved him? Asami . When Aki was taken by Fei Aki put himself in a position to be taken , who saved him Asami. So you still want him to go to a war zone? I don"t think even Asami has that kind of reach. What kind of better life are you hoping for him ?

yes iraq is a too much lol, but i can't think for better ending than living japan if aki want doing his job propoly but if he stay he must close his eyes about asami matters coz asami is the lord of the dark world all the cases lead to him. aki has changed befor he said that he will never be an ally of asami but then he volotary plunged in asami world, sudoh made him realise that if he keep doing that he will become like sudoh soiled and keep going deep and deeper in the abyss of hell bliding by love. he is too innocent loving asami can lead him to a bottom if someone like sudoh doesn't wake him up.

Takaba wouldn't last a full five minutes in Iraq. He photographs for his personal gain, the ones who are dying in Iraq are photographing for others so that they can see the mess happening in that part world. Takaba is selfish in comparison to them. He's not made for that, nor will he ever be made for that.

That's not true at all. The type of photojournalism Takaba is doing is the same type as those in war torn countries. Whether its about conflict or people's suffering or exposing the crooked polititians, it all amounts to the same thing, capturing the truth with your camera. Takaba isn't selfish, he's actually one of the most selfless people in the manga. He is just doing his job.

No you're wrong. Takaba takes picture for the "Sccop" the scoop involves ruining people's lives and bringing scandals to surface. He only does it for the money. He ruins their lives for money. People in war ridden countries lose their lives for others. They aren't after the scoop, they are after peace and a change. Don't ever mistake Takaba for one of those photographers.

Those photographer's who lay down their lives in war ridden countries photograph these catastrophes to let the world know what's going on. They don't do so to get the “latest scoop” or to see “whose sleeping with who”.

Takaba takes pictures for the “scoop”, for fame and for recognition. He doesn't care whose life he's ruining, as long as he's getting something for it. That's the kind of photographer Takaba is, not one whose willing to lay down his life for people he doesn't even know. Not one whose willing to sacrifice his life to get the worthy “scoop”. If it's not about rich people sleeping together, or Yakuza, Takaba doesn't care. You give him too much credit.

I'm not sure whether when you saved someone's life it authorizes you to treat this person as your property and as if you possessed it's freedom, keeping it forced with you only to use it sexually, ridicule and exploit it's weakness for you and gratitude to you. Maybe in Iraq... I'm not saying that the behavior of Akihito is super, he is so reckless and weak. Absolutely I can imagine a better life for him alongside someone who could do something more than to have sex with him. There are so many things that people can do together when they're young, which are developing: going to the cinema, museums, amusement parks, strolling and bike riding, having conversations while drunk till morning even if it's only juvenile's gibberish, having get-together, playing games, watching movies, joking, cooking, taking part of parties and events, doing crazy spontaneous actions. With someone who has similar worldview and sense of humor, who admires him and respects him as someone who he is. It's better than being a lover or an addition to life of older, hardworking guy. Surely Akihito is mentally 15-20 years younger than Asami he is less mature and staid. It seems to me they are together because it's the first infatuation of Akihito and he does his best. And Asami won't let him off the hook.

I agree, I don't think Akihito knows what he wants, but it's certainly not Asami. Asami doesn’t love him, he just values him like a possession. Akihito knows this to, so I think he's just given up hope. I mean, what else can he do. All Asami wants Is sex, and that's all Aki can offer. There relationship is built upon forced sex, they aren't going anywhere. I feel terrible for Akihito. In all honesty, I think he would've been pretty good with a girl, he woul've made a great dad. And if it came to being gay, he would've been good in a relationship with another man other than Asami. Asami screwed Takaba up for his own selfish wants. He gives more to Asami than Asami gives back to him.

Akihito is Asami's pet, that's all.

I can see him as a traveler too but you chose an unfortunate place. Send him to Poland, we have a beautiful country and a lot of corruption and scandals here that he would not know which trail to take :) Why exactly this savage area?

    Anonymous September 14, 2014 4:15 pm

Sorry but You are wrong. Aki knows what he wants. He wants to stay by Asami's side.

Asami clearly values him as more then a pet. Otherwise he woulds have locked Aki away for himself a long time ago. He is possessives but mostly regarding people who are a clear threat. Aside from that he lets Aki do what he wants most of the time.

Aki is not completely new to the underground world. The writer herself said he has a pretty dark background tho Its not clear if she will go into further detail.

Don't feel too sorry for him. He has done things of his own free will with or without Asami's approval.

Have you read these last few chapters at all? If you haven't you should because you are clearly uninformed. It explains that Akihito is someone special to Asami, he'll always comes to his aid if he's in trouble. He went all the way to Hong Kong while he was injured to battle it out with Feilong to get him back. He acted emotionally when he heard Aki's voice on the phone and he sounded distressed. He's given Aki a place in his home. In his own words, he'll "eradicate anyone who touches him". He wouldn't do any of this if he didn't have feelings for Akihito. You're dumb if you think he doesn't love him. All the signs are there, you're probably just choosing not to pick up on it because you're a hater of their relationship.

    http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/you_re_my_loveprize_in_viewfinder/mh/v07/c043/2/

    1. Why there is a long black vertical stripe on the right side of this page?
    2. What was the reason of that Akihito decided suddenly to stay by Asami's side? What does he want to achieve by doing this?
    3. Did he enjoy the event from the last chapter (42)? Did he admit that he needed this event and it helped him understand something important?
    4. Why he thinks he was careless? In which moment he was careless?
    5. Is this memory, which he recalls in bed now, nice or unpleasant?
    6. Has he still choice and other options? Can he not to stay by his side? If he can what will be the consequences or changes in their relationship?
    7. When in this manga does black background with white geometric angular balls/bubbles apear?

    9. In this both up, why for Asami is more important who changes Takaba than whether at all he will be changed?
Please, I really want to know your opinion... You can answer only to chosen points. Thanks.

    @lala

In a nutshell: Aki is in love with Asami but knows that being with him could lead to more bad encounters. He wants to stay with Asami but does not want to be a stay at home housewife. He is no longer considered a pet to Asami but as a lover, however others in the underground world still think he is just a plaything. This is what bothers Aki the most.

He does not want to be taken care of. He does not want to be "trapped" in the pace of Asami's lifestyle. And that is when he thinks that maybe he should give up on the idea of being together and run away from it all but deep down it is pointless and Asami will find him and has no plans on letting him go( by means of the relationship) Aki is slightly happy that Asami values him but is not sure if its love or possessiveness.

Asami actually loves Aki's personality and how Aki does not knee to Asami's will as easy as others He thinks of Aki as a wild animal. He wants to keep Aki to himself but worries that Aki will end up being too submissive and lose the "life" that he always has in his eyes.

Now I'm not trying to be mean but...

You're not mean and gif is funny. I'd read book with a great pleasure if I ever owned one, now I have only internet and this website :) Actually you don't answer my questions, but thanks for showing your point of view. By answering my own queries let me now present my interpretation, why I think Akihito's decision, made in circumstance from chapter 42, doesn't allow me to think that stay by Asami's side is really what he wants:
    1. Akihito is falling down the abyss deeper and deeper, he is already determined to do actually everything to get Asami's favour, even if the prize is to lose his own identity, goals and priorieties (I hope before he falls down the very bottom, he'll realize that all depends on Asami, not on him).
    2. Akihito realized that he is Asami's pet and in addition he can't just quit. Only option he has, if he wants to be treated better is to gain Asami's respect by standing by his side because Asami esteems people who have some kind of value for him, are useful or profitable for him. I think Akihito is jelous about Kuroda because of this respect he has in the eyes of Asami.
    3. Of course not. That was rude act of Asami, but very efficient. Probably Akihito will never try again to leave him, and even he promised himself that he never be Asami's ally because he despises his activity, you can say that he has to. This scene also shows how much Akihito is scared of Asami, how he afraid of speaking openly with him.
    4. I think he means the time when he thought that he can make his own decision about following his dreams, just break up with Asami and go away. Because he fallen in love with him by far more, he lost his vigilance.
    5. Of course unpleasant and he made a quick, not necessarily rational and sober decision. For me it was act of desperation.
    6. Other options are either impossible or bring no changes.
    7. I have no idea but I still want to know. Maybe fear?
    8. Because this trap is Asami and his play with Akihito , not the world he enters (although Asami's surroundings is what he takes in the package).
    9. Because Asami doesn't love Akihito and even he likes his strenght and resist, if he whenever has whim to change him, he will just do it. Actually this changes have started yet. Akihito is not so wild as before, he is in part tamed.

Both of us see things and facts which we want to see, but it's normal and make discussion interesting. I don't want to bore you so I won't relate to your proofs of love. I see it all very difrent from you, but I can deal with it. Besides, Asami is so often cruel and tactless to Akihito so it makes me forget about his good acts. I'm not a hater, I can see them together. I could even find sympathy for Asami when Akihito said he wanted to leave him after that he was feeling blue about fact Sudou stood against him. And it was nice to see how he cheered up when he found that Akihito is jelous. I would like to see Asami truly loving Akihito, but now it's about 100 km from love. Currently I can easily believe that Asami loves Kuroda. So... hey, Asami! Think! Get your shit together! Draw conclusions, stop producing enemies on a massive scale. You're not so cool as you think. I'm just frustrated, I realy start liking Akihito, he deserves more. And I desperately want a happy ending especially they have to be together. Aki must love Asami, he has no choice as long as he can't leave him (maybe it's better for him in this tragic situation) and Asami has no other option because he is addicted to/obsessed about Akihito.
