Because like this manga life has its pros and cons and whether you like it or not It will continue in its own direction regardless of theories made about its purpose and final destination in regards to the remaining time that is your life.
So stupid! These fights are boring! Kubo just likes making up new characters with dumb powers rather than progressing the plot. Get on with it already, we still have the 20 chapter fight between Ichigo and the King, which will also be stupid, boring and dragged out longer than necessary.
