random observation/question, but... why doesn't kagami turn into a leopard? and also, who...

Kagami didn't transform, b/c there wasn't enough to affect a regular werecat, but Shiou was hit with that shot 2 chapters b4. Also I think Shiou would be stronger b/c of being a lion, but also I believe Kagami had a slightly scared look on his face when he got pounced on.
