i think i have the same problem. if you're normally using the arrow keys, try instead to click on the page to proceed. that usually works for me

anyone else having problems with the reader not progressing to the next chapter?
It pulls you out of the story when you have to stop, figure out that your at the end of the chapter, click the chapter tab, scroll down to the chapter you're on, and then proceed reading.
