I've read a lot of yaoi and by now I probably know what I like... so is this creation wort...

The OVA doesn't cover the whole story, but nonetheless watch it, it's well-made.
You should read it. I admit the art is not the greatest around, but I really really like this manga. The story is unique, the characters are many and all different from each other, with their own distinct personalities, pet peeves, whishes... It gets a little confusing at times, but IMO it's definitely worth reading. :-)
