Still though, it's a bit sad Ryouma won't even let him try. Like I can imagine him trying and then realizing it's too big of a hassle for him but Ryouma being so stubborn against it.
Just thought id mention this--in most ACTUAL GAY COUPLES, it is common for BOTH to top (aka, reverse roles), even if there is a more regular set up of top and bottom roles. In other words, it is possible for one to be "seme" and "uke", but to switch it up once in a while. Honestly, even if izumi really likes to bottom, its clear he at least has a desire to top--he IS a guy too, ya know!--and its kinda mean of Ryouma to deny him. I get he is probably scared about it, but i think at some point in their relationship they should, even if the author doesn't write about it. I may be taking this too seriously, and i know that it is in the nature of the yaoi genre to have these unalterable preset roles, but it is also a bit of a pet peeve of mine since i also read gay romance novels, and it is very common for both partners in a relationship to top, even if one is more on the fem side. Oh, and btw, its pretty freaking hot when they both top. Just saying!
I'm thinking that Izumi could have a chance at being a top for once. The latest chapter kinda hinted that, "Ryouma held onto his chastity for another day." Making it seem like he will lose it sometime in the future? (just my opinion, plus Izumi is really persistent.)
