    In the french edition, he said (I'll translate the best I can):

    But yeah, I'm pretty sure the english one is a little more accurate with adding the pride and comradeship thing, but hm he seems to be talking about Asami toward Akihito? Or Akihito toward Asami? Something like that, I'm not sure :/

    I still don't understand -_- Does it mean that an attractive target for a man is this one that is chosen by the other men, because if he reaches it, that means he can be proud of this because he defeated the competition? Is this about Aki's jealousy against all those guys who like Asami and which makes that Aki also wants approve himself to Asami?

    I don't know if this is the right interpretation, but it seems to me that Sakazaki is saying that a person who is coveted by someone else is a challenge (it happens in other relationships as well - coveting what someone else owns/has) It is a type of jealousy
