No, I don't think they are lovers in Love Stage, I think they're sex buddies at best. If anyone disagrees, please explain, because I'm not sure myself. :)
Someone told me that the light novels were not canon, but I don't see why.
They're not only sex buddies in Love stage. Shougo is seriously in love with Rei and Rei just does not want to admit he likes/loves Shougo more and more. So, I think we may say they're a couple.
Can someone help me clarify...I just got done reading the light novel summaries and I'm a bit confused. Does the novel take place before or after Love Stage? I know that they did a flashback 10 years prior with their relationship, but I guess I'm asking: are Rei & Shougo a couple in Love Stage? (I'm picturing the anime when Rei blushes at Shougo).
