One of my all time favorites. Yoshimori is such a deep character who grows and changes in meaningful ways. I like that Yoshimori finds his own way to do things and he really stands up for himself and others even when experiencing pain, fear, heartbreak. As far as shounen heroes go, I feel he is the deepest and most loveable. His feelings about his strained relationship with his older brother, and his mother and her choices in life, are compelling without being angsty. Yoshimori shows his emotions but it's carefully balanced with no unnecessary melodrama (in the manga, not the anime).

I was really weirder out by the end. It was a huge battle with a million characters and not enough Yoshimori and Tokine. That said, this story had good characters and I love reading it. I was glad to see Souji's smile.
