I agree with you xD I played Hanakage and I prefer Iori over Shuri. He's just so... "girly" -.- I don't know how else to describe him... Iori is a type of uke that literally fights back to Tatsumi, and holds a pride as someone who used to of high status. He hates how he has sunk so low, but never gives up xD He acts cold and tough-ish which makes him so lovable~
C'mon...why turn Hanamachi Monogatari into manga when they can make HANAKAGE???? Hanakage is Hanamachi Monohgatari 8 years(?) later with a different protagonist. Shuri and Tatsumi both appears...but Iori is the main character. Personally, I like Iori more than Shuri. Shuri is a typical feminine uke while Iori is a strong-willed person who refuses to throw his own pride away despite the situation he's in. Also the guys that appear in HANAKAGE are so much better than Hanamachi Monogatari...! Also the game's opening (also by Takatsuki Noboru) is so much better(its newer..so figures). THE ART IS SO PRETTY <3
