ME too for THE FIRST COUPLE IN MY OPINION WAS THE BEST!
I,too, prefer the 1st couple over the second. I reread the 1st vol twice but only several chapters of the 2nd couple. I've waited to the 3rd though.
Kinda wish the 1st couple would get more play.
