THey are both twisted, that's what's going on.. And, I think in a way the father is struggling enough that he wants to run, leave and start his life all over again. I know that feeling, when everything gets all murky and muddy and you feel like your sinking, you just want to run as far away as possible and want a new identity. Ataru, however, just threatened his father, making sure his father never leaves him!
Yeah, it's a twisted kinda love!! LOVED IT!
The kid basically fell in love with his father. His father wanted to move away, possibly somewhere were he might be able to meet a woman, so the kid stopped him by threatening to tell the world about their relationship. So the son is trapping the father, instead of the other way around like you would expect.
That's what I got, anyways. A pretty delicious ending.
I'm confused about the ending, can someone please tell me what the hell is going on with this kid and his father?
