Yeah, what is up with the seme never undressing. I'm always thinking that's unfair to the uke.
If a guy doesn't undress when he goes to bed with me, it makes me feel disrespected and cheap. It's like he's in a hurry to fuck and leave as fast as possible. Ah, but it's not like that in yaoi where it's equals having sex with other equals. No one is cheapened by the act or thrown out like garbage when it's over. That's a big reason why I like yaoi. It's something men have no understanding of.
Undressing can be taken as a sign of vulnerability. Only the really confident and powerful people are comfortable being vulnerable (because they are, either willing to risk, or they can't be hurt so easily in any case.) I think yaoi gets the undressing thing wrong. It's nice to see both men naked. I like a handsome man with no clothes on. I think the uke would respond well, too. ;-)
