It's kind of apathetic, but so is the character. We need more on his past though, and possibly more dialogue that is actually interesting. Like, reveal Taichi's weakness about he always says sorry (since he was an abandoned kid and picked up, maybe he thinks that if he doesn't act perfectly, he will get thrown out?)
