It's really interesting! There's bits of angst, comedy, unrequited love, jealousy, friendship, family/school situations, strong characters (personality-wise), etc. It's sort of a 'coming-of-age' story. The manga's slow-paced (for me, at least) but bitter-sweet and highly likable. If you like 'realistic' stories that follow the characters for years (childhood to adolescence) then read this one! Please don't pass up on it due to the art. It'll grow on you.
