The story was pretty much all jokes, not yaoi sadly, more hints of shounen ai. Then again the author was never straight forward in making their love mutual. Sure Takeshi said they were dating but there were no signs of more than friends or cohabiting in college etc. so I am sad for Tamio who has to put up with that. After all mutual love is great but if Takeshi is half-hearted then I don't know. I wish the author had just thrown in some sort of I'm scared of sex and a short like hinted sex scene or something where I can be assured that they had sex and are together together. She does hint at the perspectives of gay but never really defines it clearly etc and still Takeshi never clearly reciprocated his feelings, more like went with the flow.
