A simple romance for the ones who like rivalry mixed with love. A kind of misunderstood cool-yet-warming character with the hotblood stubborn girl. Lots of laughs and lots of "aaawwws".
The art not that great, but like those "internet thread to manga" adaptations, it has a little feeling of reality mixed with internet crazeness. The characters are very likeable, but be warned the manga depends highly on dialogues.
Very good school-life romance that develop starting from two friends and the people surrounding them. Lots of different girls with different situations, slow-paced but heart-warming with a sense of beauty.
A very fun romance about a girl who's deeply burried in the friendzone while her best-friend and love interest wishes she could find a girlfriend. You can only pity the poor girl, yet, has moments do make you smile at her adorableness.
Based on OVA series, it's a comedy for the ones who like twins being silly. A daydreamer fraternal twin with a sister complex and a girl who 'looks' completly oblivious. Fun for the ones who like simple comedies.
Weeell, I'm not a fan of cliched shoujo plot, but for the ones who like school life with familiarity, here are some stepsiblings with some troubles. A cool girl x an airhead, and open desires.
A princess marriage between girls, with a cool-mean girl who can't express her feelings correctly and a empathic tomboy. Adorable art and lots of laughs, but be warned: I heard it through the grapevine it was cancelled. :/
The pace is convoluted, the characters have a messy development, but this is precious: drawn by Yamagishi Ryouko, one of the 24 group (like Hagio Moto, great shounen-ai influence), this was one the first shoujo-ai manga ever made. It is beautiful and tragic, certainly not to be missed.
Slow build up from a friendship to love. The characters are adorable, and might be just your best friends from high school or that group of loud girls which you find in every class. I'd say it's a must read.

Thank you for the great recommendations (▰˘◡˘▰)
thank you!! I’m just getting started in the yuri realm so this list’s gonna be helpful. ( ◠‿◠ ) also good on you for getting over your homophobia lmao
When I wrote that in 2014 I had barely any idea of the implications, which is pretty sad. I'm actually embarrased reading it now LMAO 'Cause I kept adding to the list, but I never actually came back here. Since you drew my attention to it, I'm wondering if I should change that suck-ass description or keep it as a reminder that I may have started off on the wrong foot, but as all human I'm able to think critically and change the way I see things. Thank you for looking into the list! (●'◡'●)ノ
definitely keep it as a reminder! ashamed to say i’ve also felt the same. not exactly repulsed but i never gave it a chance bc it wasn’t boys love. but now i read it more than bl these days :’)
Thank you for some of the titles here ^u^ I was searching non-scholar yuri, so you helped me :P
Also, love is love, darling, no matter what the gender is :B
You're welcome, dear (▰˘◡˘▰) I noticed how hard it is to find yuri which is not about school life or way too into ecchi. Also, 100% agreed :3 Enjoy the list!
These a BIG ass list of yuri i could reccomend to ya but ik gona keep it short (easy to get into) hana to hina, shoujo sect, akuma no riddle, pulse, yuru yuri, yuri yuri, (they are diffrent), Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, Hoshikawa Ginza(this has alot of names for some reason) , Yagate-kun ni Naru, yuzumori, Shitsurakuen, Gokujou Drops,Heart no Okurimono, and for advanced readers destiny of the shrine maidens, octave happy sugar life, and why not a random anime Flip Flappers. Ya i lied about it being short i geuss but i removed quite alot. Sorry if a few of em are on your list its a copy paste from a personal list of my reccomendations.(not on this site txt doc)pce (=・ω・=)
