One of my favorites! I love the premise of reconnecting with a best friend who disappeared. The uke is kinda a clumsy mess with bad luck, but. I love that the acknowledges it and doesn’t want to be dependent...but at when he finally does begin to do that (as a car salesman), he runs into the person he was always the most dependent on. There is an interesting tension where both of they want to be together (in at least a platonic soulmate capacity), but also think they are better apart.
Timid/shy newbiecar salesman goes with his helpful senpai’s house to close a deal on a new car sad to an antisocial writer. He realizes when seeing the writer’s real name that he was a childhood friend he hadn’t seen in many years after he suddenly moved away. He becomes closer to his childhood friend when his senpai confesses to him and he panics, not knowing who else to turn to. His childhood friend is quite protective of him and eventually confesses to being the same as his senpai, in love and having ulterior motives. Dated art style but a pleasant read all around
Just to find out he cut it later. Poor me! Σ( ̄∇ ̄")
