Comments of Kawaita Yoru no Machi wo Oyogu

Well I did really enjoy all the stories. I liked the first couple but then again there was just something I didn't like as well. Kikyou did come off as spoiled seeing as he had no where to go after his parents died and their fortune was lost so he should have tried to make the best with his relatives. I can see if he didn't want to add to their burdens and left but being to good to live in poverty is another thing when you have nothing. Terumasa was no better cause he wanted to punish Kikyou for his behavior towards him even though it happen long again when they both were children. The story says that Kikyou was tricked and sold into the brothel so Terumasa should have let him go especially after hearing how Kikyou fought and was injured so to me that tells me Terumasa and his family have a shady business especially when they thought about dumping Kikyou into the poorer neighborhoods to sale his body. I liked them together but that story was just not good.

I really liked the second couple the best with Miya and Tachibana. They meet as kids and Miya has always liked Tachibana but he first met him when his sister's forced him to dress as a girl so he doesn't want to bring that up to Tachibana. However, Tachibana already knew it was him and he liked him as well. I want to know what happens next cause everybody already suspects the two of them are involved.

The one shot at the end was just too cute and I need another dose of that.

Three stories (2 of them are historical):
• Ch 1-2 Swimming in the Dry Street at Night (p. 5-70) - After his parents died, noble Kikyou was taken in by relatives in the countryside, but that lifestyle didn't suit the spoiled boy, so he ran away. Later, being tricked by some strangers, he was sold to a brothel. There, a fateful reunion awaits for him: the owner of the brothel is, in fact, his previous maid's son, Terumasa...
• Ch 3-4 The Lavishing Chaos. The Enchanting Banquet (p. 75-126) - The son of the Emperor, the youngest prince Miya, fell in love at first sight with Lieutenant Tachibana, because of something that happened under the wisteria tree when they were children. But maybe Tachibana doesn't remember him...

• Ch 6 Hana's Illness Comes from the Heart (p. 171-194) - More of Miya and Lieutenant Tachibana's story (tentacles rape dream)

The stories were very interesting and humorous.

There is Bondage is the first story, but not the second or third. The art is lovely in all of them. - Story/plot in #1. is heart wrenching. (have tissues handy !) #2. is really cute and sweet with dogs ! #3. is pure historical fluffiness !

Only the first story is interesting. The one about aa aristocrat who was sold to a brothel, and then bought by his servant. Then a story I don't remember, then a lithinant and someone else, then dog lovers, and then again the previous pair.

But they just leave the ending all sorts of wonky..
