This series is legit slice of life and probably one of the more realistic relationship dynamics. There's a few time where it gets a little much but it deals with a variety of real topics and displays a realistic portrayal of a more serious teenage romance.
I've read manga, manhua, and manhwa for years and to this day this one reigns as one of the best ones I've read. Beautiful heartfelt story of love and overcoming life circumstances. Don't skip this
Chapter 40. Their play was good. I didn't expect that there would be such a parallel to the characters and Arima. The doctor's Sad past that he can't run away from and the neo model android who realized that maybe the more perfect you are, the more you'll be seen as a machine and not like a person to be loved. It hit Arima so hard it was so well-done.
Ch. 42 I didn't expect that backstory for the doctor. Kudos to the author for making a good story within a story.
75. I know I read some people's comments saying that the first half was good cuz it was from the girl's perspective while the 2nd half is just Arima's drama etc
I somehow get why people won't like it but I think it's good that we got to explore more of him. Mental health is really important and I'm glad he sorted out his thoughts and feelings and hopefully recover more from his childhood trauma. I'm glad that they explored it rather that just saying it in passing but not do anything with it
The ending was rushed but not that rushed. I am satisfied with how they ended Arima's arc and that's what mattered the most to me. We got to know their plans and future at least and I'm glad they're happy.
wonderfully written. i got really emotional while reading it. i love arima's development throughout the story. miyazawa's character was amazing too this story is so worth the read! I'll definitely read this again soon.
I remember watching the anime when I was little and liking it, but since it had no ending I thought I could just take a peek at this. What a mistake. Yucky. Bleh. Many red flags but that grooming presented like destiny and romantic, just wow. Yuck x2.
Good writing but the p*do parts getting romanticise is just baffling. They manage to did it TWICE(1. One of the FL friend dating a guy who's 28 while she's still in high school. 2. FL adult friend's catching feelings for Fl's daughter that's a high school student). On a positive note, I like the character personality and how real it feels. The romance development was right and didn't feel too fast. The humour never fails to make me laugh. Overall, I enjoyed it but was disappointed at the same time on the direction they went to. When I read those parts, I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.
