really good story but i hate all the characters

This is the story which introduced me to the manga world. I probably re-read most of the chapters more than once. I thought that at some times, the plot was stuck in a loop endlessly repeating itself but I loved every part of it down to the last page. I wanted a spectacular ending and Rui to be happy (with Shizuka) but still this is a cult manga for me (perhaps it is one-of-a-kind manga because I doubt that there is or will be anything which is even remotely similar to it).

I mean while it IS kinda uh… messed up (let’s say it like that) at the beginning, it’s such a classic and inspired not only shoujo manga but also so many dramas. I LIVE for the Korean adaptation bc it has Lee Minho starring as ML. The manga is also so good I’m probably gonna try to collect it lol

Sad it ended ambiguously but tsukasa got hotter and hotter but his personality is hmm..... can be chArming at times but very :/

One beautiful, emotional rollercoaster ┗( T﹏T )┛it jumps from one to another before my brain could process an opinion and its not rushed. It just left me to experience the pains of 2 very dense people in there beautiful love ╮(￣▽￣)╭

This is a classic for sure. Although I'm not much for relationships where the main leads argue all the time, this story is gold to me. Domyouji, the main lead, is violent, spoiled, and impulsive but his love for Makino, the mc, is so great that it draws you in. He shows his love again and again all throughout the series and as you read you can see how he changes to be a better person just for her. He is for sure one of my favorite characters ever and he indisputably is the main ingredient for what makes this manga's popularity immortal.

I watched the dramas both japanese & Korean, and the manga made me L O V E Doumyouji a LOT more.

where can i find someone like tsukasa? the character development is the sweetest thing ever, he's such a gem!! >.<

It's a classic that the whole world loves and I can see why. It's got some unnecessary complications but other than that, the love between the two is incomparable.

One of my all time faves! It's pretty old but the art style improves, especially near the end. The romance is a long-burning type and you really feel it. These are characters that linger with me and I want to revisit all the time

After nearly 300 chapters, there's no fucking wedding, no actual sex scene, no cute lovely shit. Fukc. But I love it. But fukc.

slow romance but so worth it. Every time the two MC made progress in their relationship, i got all hyped up and giddy. but i mean it took 10 vol until i saw some legit progress. The character growth in this, in my opinion, is unreal. I enjoyed seeing them all change. Makino changed so much, even appearance wise. All strong characters in their own way.

Pure trash. Bullying qnd atempt rape go from chapter 1 to the last volume. Nobody ever goes to jail or even are treated as criminals.

It was good until she ended up with the guy who had slapped her and sent a group of guys to attempt rape her like wtf
