im glad i read chun chun ga chun first, read it first so you wont be pissed by shiratori so much, because about him and chun fiance thing is not what you think it is. Yet i don't like that he says he only like fukurou_kun for his body.

Televised sportscaster, Fukurou, is assigned to cover baseball star and infamous horndog, Shiratori Reiichi, and is shocked to find himself as his lover. As this is in alignment with his feelings, he goes along with it, but there is a deception and broken engagement in Shiratori's past which pulls on him emotionally and he indulges in sex friendships. Will Fukurou ever be able to trust him? The story never gets too down-spirited and there are plenty of amusing moments thanks to rituals like meeting the parents and the usual baseball tropes about homeruns, etc.. As usual, Yamamoto's drawings make the characters seem very young, like boys rather than men, but it's a stylistic quirk, nothing more. A nice, pleasant story about a goodnatured sports reporter.

I'm not giving this a 3 star because I don't like losers (that's not my place to rate people based on their choices or who they are) but the manga was really lacking a lot... it couldn't resolve anything, the ML's statement was mixed lies and truth, no monologue, no nothing... but cute art!!!

I'm fine with cheating but only because I love the groveling scene so this is a bit of a disappointment. Guess Rei will always be Rei. Sigh

Spin off Chuchun

Fukurou, a sports announcer in Tokyo, is assigned to do a close report on baseball player Shiratori Reiichi. After their first meeting, Fukurou wakes up in bed with him - the start of a relationship that goes from one-night-stand to "I love you" within days, although Shiratori plays around. He's also nursing feelings for his ex-fiance, who left him for another man.

This is sweet. The pace was too quick for me to be invested in their relationship, but I enjoyed the little twists and Shiratori's parents.

Don't like the art and the pair but I'm fine with the story .. the uke just appear to as me as too much young for the seme ..

So i am confident that this is some continuation for the mangaka's other manga. So yes this is a spin off of chun chun ga chun. It wilk be nice if it is included in the summary tho. Because i read this first and I kind of lost. I notice that the problem of this mangaka either the couple tend to fall in love too fast in the beginning or the ending felt too rushed lol. Not all of her manga work like that but her newer work tend to work like that. But still tho entertaining as always

First of all he is cheating with a groupie of beautiful girl. Second, he still has feeling towards his ex fiancee. Third, he has the audacity to scold Fukurou for not believing in him that he loves him? Indeed he is an assholes through and through. I love this author no offence but sorry this manga is just toxic.

Done reading and I think this one is cute but I can't pinpoint what's wrong in here but I feel like there is. I also think that the uke shouldn't forgive him that easily after he cheated when he said he wouldn't.

It’s good. I can understand why Fukurou is feeling like he cannot trust Shiratori because even though he told him that he is over the guy “Chun”, he still drink his sorrows away when he heard Chun is getting “married” (in Japan, for two guys to get married, they register one person in that relationship to the other’s family registration). He clearly does have lingering feelings for him and it is kind of disappointing the author just let the conflict pass by like it is a fucking wind. I wish the author had the characters tackle the problem more because it could result into a future problem and even become the very problem that destroys their relationship. Communication and Trust in very important in a relationship so the author not implying that in the story makes me not enjoy this story as much. Either way, the story is good and all. The only conflict I had with the story is just the one I previously stated.
