Haruka was treated very badly by the closest people in his life and then they made it seem like HE was the problem. He's only 15, his father acted distant towards him and then even developed a sexual relationship with the guy he KNEW his son liked. Haru said it well, "you're my dad only when it's convenient for you". Tama doesn't talk about his feelings even after Haru asked him to, then gets mad when Haru doesn't magically understand his feelings. He gets called selfish and in the end he too believes he is selfish, which is heartbreaking. And when he's at his lowest, betrayed by the people he trusted, he wants to feel loved and wanted and ends up having sex with an adult who is known to have a thing for young girls (and boys), an adult who knows it's wrong, acknowledges it and does it anyway. I kinda wished Haru would've went to Paris with his mom, because she at least expressed that she loves and wants Haru around and not just treating him as an after-thought. I understand that this is an old manga, but that is mistreatment and emotional neglect of a child.
